Sixth Grade Class Supply List

For Sixth Grade, your student will need the following:

• #2 pencils or mechanical pencil's with .7 lead (do not use .5 lead)

• black or blue pens

• "pink" eraser

• compass & protractor

• student scissors (Fiskars are good for art)

• ruler, in inches and centimeters

• glue stick for art

• colored pencils for history maps

• green "stick pen" for grading/correcting

• wide rule paper (about 200 sheets a month)

• binder for papers, with dividers for classes-or "peachies" to sort papers

• composition book for Science and History, Math and Language (NO spiral notebooks)

• "scotch" tape

• calculator with square root capability

• dictionary and thesaurus

• box of Kleenex (one per month) and hand sanitizer, if allergies or other "sniffles" are a concern

The teacher may have them bring other items in from time to time, for a special project.
